Sustainable transport

With its gentle, undulating countryside, safe county lanes and network of city centre cycle lanes, Salisbury and South Wiltshire provides plenty of opportunities for cyclists and walkers.

The Salisbury District Council area also has a very active community transport sector, with services including community buses and LINK good neighbour and transport schemes.

There is a major Salisbury Transport Plan which aims to improve conditions for road-users and pedestrians in and around the city.
