A short stay surface car park located in the heart of the city. Convenient for all short visits to city centre facilities. Please be advised that this is a very well frequented car park and spaces are difficult to find especially at peak times. Twice a week, Tuesday and Saturday, markets are held at this location and the car park is not available from midnight until 7pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

53 spaces for cars. Free spaces for motorcycles.
Pay and Display machines are located on the north edge of the car park. (Note - these payment machines DO NOT give change. They accept 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins.)

Charges apply Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8am and 6pm, including all bank holidays.
There is a £2 charge for parking 10am-4pm on Sunday. Please note that the maximum stay is two hours.
To assist drivers parking overnight, ticket machines will vend tickets valid for the next morning if purchased after 6pm.
Blue badge holders may park free of charge in all Pay and Display car parks and on-street. The blue badge, together with the time clock, must be properly displayed and drivers must comply with all parking regulations. Dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders may be found at the Guildhall Square, adjacent to this car park.
This car park is monitored by 24 hour CCTV. During payment hours regular patrols are made by civil enforcement officers.
Public toilets are located near the payment machines.
