Culver Street car park

Description

A long stay multi-storey car park located at the edge of the city centre, with 530 spaces. Easy access from the inner ring road particularly when entering from the A30 (London) or the A36 (Southampton). There is also vehicle access from Milford Street between 8am and 4pm only. Note that a height restriction of 2 metres applies.

Vehicles cannot entering this car park during the following times:

Monday – Saturday 5.30pm to 7.15am.
Sunday – closed all day.

If you are parked in the car park before the closure times stated you can still leave at any time.

Tariff

Pay and Display machines are located on every floor. (Note - these payment machines DO NOT give change. They accept 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins.)

Charges apply Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8am and 6pm, including all bank holidays.

There is a flat rate £2 charge for parking 10am-4pm on Sundays. (Although you cannot enter the car park on Sunday, you must pay the Sunday charge if your vehicle is kept in the car park on Sunday, having arrived before the entrance closes at 5.30pm on Saturday).

Note that you can also pay for your parking in this car park by using your mobile phone and a credit or debit card.

Blue badge holders

Blue badge holders may park free of charge in all Pay and Display Car Parks and on-street. The blue badge, together with the time clock must be properly displayed and drivers must comply with all parking regulations. There are 4 disabled bays on the ground floor of this car park. When these are full, use any marked bay.

Security

This car park has been awarded the Secured Car Park Award. It is monitored by 24 hour CCTV and during payment hours a civil enforcement officer is on site, either patrolling the car park or in an office located on Level 1, south end. A 'Help Point' is available by the lifts on Level 1. This will put you in to immediate contact with the CCTV operators who are in radio contact with the civil enforcement officers. Public toilets are also available on floor 2 (south stairs).
