Assisted collections

About this service

If you are a householder and are incapacitated or infirm the council can arrange to have your refuse or recycling collected from within the curtilage of your home (from the back or front garden or from a path or drive).

You will need

To request the service, phone, email or write to us using the contact details below, and a form will be sent to you.

On receipt of your completed application form an officer from the council will visit to check that access is suitable before arranging your first back door collection.

Initially the service will be provided for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on your needs.
