Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme sets out how Salisbury District Council will go about revising its policies.

The document will set out:

• which policy documents will be prepared
• how the documents relate to each other
• the timetable for preparing the documents

The council has revised its Local Development Scheme, which covers the period from 2007 to 2011.

The Local Development Scheme will be reviewed every year to ensure that new areas of policy work are included. The review will also allow us to report progress on current work, and will enable timetables for work to be kept up to date.
