Land at the Old Swimming Pool site, Bourne Hill, Salisbury

After a period of public consultation and subsequent amendments, the development brief for the Old Swimming Pool site was approved by Cabinet at its meeting on 15 November 2006. The document now has the status of Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG), and will therefore be a material consideration when future planning applications for the site are decided.

The purpose of the Brief is to provide a framework for the development of the site in accordance with the requirements of the Local Plan. It contains a set of development principles which any future applications for the site will be assessed against.

Consultation

For the purposes of consultation a large number of organisations and individuals were notified and publicity arrangements were designed to reach out to the public at large.
