The development brief for the land at Duck Lane is now available. Its purpose is to provide clear development control guidance for any future planning application for the site.
Between April and May 2004, the draft development brief for the site was published for consultation with local people and other organisations. Around 65 responses to this consultation exercise were received. The comments were carefully considered by planning officers and a number of changes were made to the brief to address local concerns. Details of the comments received are available on request.
On 15 September the council resolved to adopt the development brief as Supplementary Planning Guidance.
The land at Duck Lane site is allocated for residential development in the Adopted Salisbury District Local Plan under policy H2G.
