Land at Downton Road

Development brief

The revised development brief for the land at Downton Road is now available. Its purpose is to provide clear development control guidance for any future planning application for the site.

Between July and August 2004, the draft development brief for the site was published for consultation with local people and organisations. The comments were carefully considered by planning officers and a number of changes were made to the brief to address local concerns. Details of the comments received are available on request.

The development brief will be presented for formal approval at the council's Cabinet meeting on 19 January 2005.

This site is allocated for residential development in the Salisbury District Local Plan.
