Regularisation

About this service

Regularisation is needed where work, to which building regulations applied, was done without Building Control involvement. Regularisation allows the building owner to request inspection with a view to gaining a Completion Certificate for the work (which certifies that they have complied with the requirements of the building regulations).

The cost of applying for Regularisation varies depending on the scale and nature of the development undertaken. The guidance is included in a schedule of fees found on the Regularisation Application Form.
