Salisbury District Council collects refuse from all residential properties within the district once a week. This includes:
Household rubbish must be put out for collection in wheeled bins where they have been provided, or in areas that have not yet received them, dustbins or tied refuse bags. All waste and recycling must be put out for collection by 7am on the scheduled day, but no later than the night before.

Assisted collections are available for those who are incapacitated or infirm.
The council provides a freephone service to provide information about bank holiday changes to the collection schedule. You can also find these changes in advance on our bank holiday collections page.
The council operates a grant scheme for town and parish councils, to provide amenity skips.
The in-house refuse collection team also operates the Home Watch scheme in partnership with the police.
You can also visit your local recycling centres or the depot in Salisbury.
