Salisbury & Stonehenge Tourism Partnership has come to the aid of struggling parents, bored children and adventurous teenagers this summer by producing a guide to family activities around the south Wiltshire area.
The Gr8 Stuff web pages showcase a range of places to visit, sports and leisure opportunities, arts and crafts and events, and include a range of downloadable money-saving coupons.
Finding activities to occupy enquiring minds is sometimes a problem for parents over the school holidays. All the activities and places to visit in Gr8 Stuff are family-friendly, and many of the workshops available are brilliant for children or young-teens looking for an alternative to sitting in front of the computer playing games. Whilst watching international sporting events on the TV can be inspirational, it’s far better for children to be out and about getting fit and active themselves.
We all know that the school holidays can be an expensive time, so the website includes a range of special offers to help stretch budgets that little bit further not forgetting that some of the activities are free.
