Salisbury and Stonehenge Tourism Partnership

Salisbury and Stonehenge Tourism Partnership was formed in 1995 with the aim of bringing South Wiltshire's diverse tourism industry together under one "umbrella" marketing organisation in order to cohesively sell Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

Since then, the Partnership has gone from strength to strength and today has almost 300 members drawn from all sectors of the local industry, including accommodation, attractions, pubs and restaurants, shops, sport and leisure, arts and entertainment to name just some.

Members join for low cost advertising opportunities including:

  • The guide — 60,000 copies produced and distributed world wide
  • The mini guide — translated into 6 languages, a total of 334,000 copies produced in 2006.
  • Travel trade supplement — specifically aimed at tour operators and group organisers. 5000 copies.
  • National and international advertising campaigns
  • Domestic and international attendance at travel fairs and exhibitions
  • Inclusion on www.visitsalisbury.com which is increasingly popular for accessing all tourist information and booking accommodation
  • And the opportunity to network and join forces with other like-minded businesses.
