Healthy living programme

Under the scheme family doctors and practice nurses can refer patients to a supervised exercise programme, which lasts for 12 weeks, for a one-off payment of £37.50.

Sessions take place in Images Fitness Studio, using both our cardiovascular and weight machines.

What do I need to do?

Your doctor will give you a written prescription for exercise. You then need to make an appointment with our Health and Fitness Officer, who will give you a guided tour of the facilities, and more detailed information about the scheme.

Bring a friend

You can bring a friend or relative (buddy) should you like someone to be with you. If your buddy would like to participate with you on the scheme, please ask the Health and Fitness Officer for further details.
