Sports walls and skateparks

Salisbury is blessed with a series of sportswalls at a variety of convenient sites around the City - Wyndham Park Open Space, Bishopdown, Fisherton Recreation Ground, Harnham Recreation Ground, Meyrick Close and Pinewood Way, which provide safe, modern, attractive facilities for people of all ages to play basketball and football. All have proven to be extremely popular and well used. Why not have a go?

Salisbury is extremely fortunate to have been one of the first Local Authorities in the Country to be awarded a Sports Lottery Grant to provide a comprehensive Street Sports area in Winston Churchill Gardens (just off the Southampton Road). This grant was matched by funding from Salisbury District Council and the facility opened in May 1998.
