Sports and recreation policy

The Council's Sport and Recreation Policy 2000 — 2005, 'Valuing our Future' was adopted in January 2000. It reflects other national and local strategies and is a statement of intent that provides the focus and direction for the Council to deliver its direct and indirect sports services over the next 5 years. Additionally, it has provided a direction for the new Sport & Recreation Strategy. The policy is monitored on an annual basis.
