Sports Stars*
The Sports Stars* Programmes are aimed at 5-16 year olds who have a recognised ability in a particular sport, or at the younger age group showing a general aptitude and interest in sport. Children are nominated through their PE teachers or club coaches and those selected to take part are offered 10-14 week coaching programmes. At the end of the programme the participants are encouraged to join local clubs.
