The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is the recognised qualification for lifeguarding in public swimming pools, from the Royal Life Saving Society.

Training as a lifeguard provides an enjoyable opportunity to earn money, working full or part time, during holiday periods or to start a career in the leisure industry.

The course is open to those aged 16 or over. It involves 38 hours of course time over five weeks, on Saturdays and one Tuesday evening.

Recognised as S/NVQ Level 2, completion of the course is independently assessed.

The full, inclusive price of the course is £210.
