Swimming lessons for adults

Adult swimming lessons are held at Durrington Pool on Sunday afternoons, with sessions at 4 and at 4.30pm.

Shallow end classes

Best suited to people who are nervous about swimming, beginners and those adults who prefer to make use of aids or floats when swimming. The aim of the course is to remove the need for aids when swimming.

Middle to deep classes

For adults who are able to swim without aids or floats for more than 10 metres. This is a good place for those who are not yet ready for the deep end but the aim is to increase distances swam and begin to improve stroke technique and progress to the deep end of the pool.
