The Council is responsible for river/streams where they abut public open space. Fishing rights for these waters are managed by the Salisbury & District Angling Club on the Council's behalf. Day permits to fish are available from tackle shops:

  • Eadies, Catherine Street, Salisbury;
  • Londis, Wilton Road, Salisbury; and
  • Reids Tackle, Witherington Farm, Downton, Salisbury (telephone 01722 711616).
