The Salisbury Country and Garden Show

The Salisbury Country and Garden Show is held annually, usually in July. There are many floral exhibitors, side shows and arena events. Salisbury District Council usually has a variety of stands at the show covering issues such as Parks, Recycling and Waste. The show has grown significantly in recent years and is now one of the premier shows of its type in the southern region and we would urge anybody with an interest in Country and Garden shows to attend.

Further information regarding the organisation of the event can be obtained from Burlyn Events, 25 Prospect Street, Caversham, Berkshire RG4 8JB, or by telephone on 0118 947 8996.

Summer Gardens Competition

The Parks section also organises a Summer Gardens Competition for budding gardeners throughout the District. Various categories of entry are available and some very lucrative prizes are on offer. The Prize Giving Ceremony is held at the Guildhall in September each year.
