Wiltshire and Swindon Arts Alliance

Salisbury District Council is one of the co founders of the Wiltshire and Swindon Arts Alliance (W&SAA). The alliance is made up of arts representatives from the 6 local authorities in Wiltshire and Swindon, those arts organisations based in Wiltshire and Swindon who are regularly funded by Arts Council England, South West plus some selected arts sector representatives. The Alliance seeks to meet identified arts priorities such as:

• improving strategic developments
• supporting infrastructure
• raising profile

The vision of the alliance is that:

Wiltshire and Swindon Arts Alliance is a united voice for the arts. It provides a strategic overview and co-ordinating mechanism, adding value to artistic organisations and infrastructures.
