Community Arts Training

The next Community Arts Training (CAT) course will take place in October 2008. The course, which is being run by Salisbury, Kennet , West and North Wiltshire district councils, is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to set up and manage arts projects in a community setting – you may be a community group with no experience of the arts or an arts practitioner who wants to run community based arts projects.

This four day course equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to plan and manage community arts projects including how to fundraise for and promote activities. Participants need to be based in or regularly work in Wiltshire. The course will run on 3rd, 4th, 10th & 11th 2008 in Wiltshire (attendance is required on all 4 days).

The course is subsidised by the four district councils so the cost for attending the course is kept to a minimum. Please note that places are extremely limited as we have places reserved from the waiting list for the last course so if you really want to attend this course then get your application in as soon as possible.
