Leisure and tourism

South Wiltshire boasts beautiful countryside, international heritage sites and plentiful leisure facilities. The council runs leisure centres in Salisbury, Durrington and Tisbury, Salisbury City Hall and Guildhall, and provides funding and support for many arts and sporting activities.

Salisbury District Council takes care of the city's many parks, open spaces and allotments, and supports local events such as the Food Festival and Salisbury In Bloom. We also run Tourism Information Centres and promote the area as a tourist destination.
