Blocked sewers and drains

About this service

Blocked public sewers should be referred to the relevant Water Authority. Blocked private sewers / drains are the responsibility of the householder(s) who discharge(s) into them. The council has powers to require the owner(s) to clear any blockage and may clear and recover costs if owner fails to comply.
