If you have reported an emergency repair or out of hours repair you will be told when you phone in roughly how long you can expect to wait. Typically an emergency repair is either done the same day or the next working day.
If you have reported a repair that is not urgent you will receive a card within a few days to tell you what work will be done and what the target date is for us to complete it. Although we will try our best to do the job by that date it is a guideline only, not an appointment date. These dates are either five or twenty working days from when we send the ticket to the contractor.
An emergency is something that we consider urgent enough to do either the same day or the next working day. The following come into this category
You can telephone one of the urgent repairs lines on 01722 434470, 434593 or 434596 between 8:30am and 5pm:00 Monday to Friday.
Calling into the Housing Services office at 26 Endless Street, Salisbury between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Outside of the office hours above please telephone 01722 411676. If you have an urgent problem out of hours you may be asked to make safe the situation until the next day, for example if you have a bad water leak you may be asked to turn off the water until a plumber can get there in the morning.
