Benefit - change in circumstances

About this service

The service allows you to inform change of circumstances that could affect your ongoing Housing and Council Tax benefit.

The following changes are Changes of Circumstances:

  • When Income Support ends and awarded Job Seekers (IB).
  • When Job Seekers (IB) ends and awarded Income Support.
  • Change of job
  • Child joins or leaves the Household.
  • Change in any Income or Benefits unless stated above
  • Go from wages to Income Support.
  • Rent increase, wage increase etc and in same property.

Any other change requires an application form.

You will need

Full supporting information will be required for reporting a change of circumstance. The change can be reported in a letter or using one of the forms below.
