Climate change

One of Salisbury District Council’s priorities is to contribute to tackling climate change. As part of this work, we are about to launch a campaign to help those struggling with fuel bills. Another part of our programme consists of supporting community groups, local businesses and parish councils to tackle climate change at a very local level.

We are aware that a number of organisations are already doing their bit to tackle climate change. We aim to find out about some of this good work through the below questionnaire, so that we can support activities that are already taking place. For example, the council is keen to involve active groups in information-sharing and learning from best practice, and we would like to hear what kind of support you would benefit from most.

Please fill in the below questionnaire and return it by 28 November 2008. Feel free to pass it on to other interested parties within South Wiltshire and encourage them to respond too.

We will be holding a meeting for all interested parties on 4 February 2009 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Alamein Suite at the City Hall in Salisbury, and it would be helpful at this stage if you could indicate on the questionnaire whether you are interested in attending.
