To vote in an election or referendum your name must be included in the Register of Electors.
You should register to vote if you are:-
Citizens of EU member states (other than the UK, the Irish Republic, or Members of the Commonwealth) cannot vote in UK Parliamentary elections and must fill in a separate form to vote in European elections.
The Register is updated annually from registration forms sent to every house in the District between mid-August and mid-November. The new Register will be published on or before 1 December each year.
Although the voter registration form must be completed and returned every autumn, you can also apply to register using the rolling registration application form. However only one or the other is necessary. The annual voter registration forms can be accepted until Friday 16 November 2007.Special arrangements for registration apply to:-

You can download forms for registering overseas and service personnel votes from the bottom of this page. Forms must be printed out, signed and faxed or posted back to the address below. Emailed copies will not be accepted.
