In order to promote sustainable development, the South Wilts Agenda 21 Forum meets four times a year. These meetings are open to the public and all are welcome. The meetings often feature guest speakers on issues in sustainability, waste management and fair trade.
The meetings are usually held in the City Hall in Salisbury.

This Joint Committee is administered by Wiltshire County Council.
The Tisbury and District Sports Centre is operated by Salisbury District Council. To oversee the operation of the Centre, the Council has constituted the Tisbury Sports Centre Managing Body, which is a sub-committee of the Western Area Committee.
Current Salisbury District Council Members are Mr R Frankland (Chairman) (co-opted community representative) and Councillors Mrs J A Green and Mrs S A Willan. Representing Wiltshire County Council is County Councillor R Willan.

The Durrington Swimming and Fitness Centre is operated by Salisbury District Council. To oversee the operation of the Centre, the Council has constituted the Durrington Swimming Pool Managing Body, which is a sub-commitee of the Northern Area Committee.
Sitting on the Durrington Swimming Pool Managing Body are representatives from the District Council, the Upper Avon School, the Sports Centre and Wiltshire County Council.

The Parish and Town Council Liaison Meeting is a bi-annual meeting. The agenda is set by the Parish and Town Councils and it provides the opportunity to build on the already strong partnership between the district council and the parish and town councils and to deliberate issues of importance to either.
