Council tax - online account information

About this service

View your account details

If you are a council tax payer, you can view your account details, payment details and correspondence online.

For users who have already registered and linked their account using 'My Profile', simply log in to Online Services and follow the 'Council Tax' link to 'View your account and bill details'.

View your council tax band

For users who have already linked their account, log on to Online Services, select the link 'Council Tax', and then 'View Council Tax Bands'.

You will need

To register online go to Online Services and follow the instructions from the 'Register' link. Register for your username and password, then go on to Interactive Services through the link 'My Profile' to request your PIN (personal identification number). Your PIN will then be sent to you.

To register via post, email, telephone or at a council office you will need to bring your name, address and council tax reference number (this is a 9 digit number, starting with 70). You can find this number on your council tax bill. You will be sent a PIN number.

First time users who have registered to use online services, and received their PIN, can log on using their username and password. Follow the instructions for linking your account to your user profile using your PIN number. After logging on for the first time you will only need to use your username and password (not your PIN). You will need to log in each time you use the services.
