French market

A French market takes place three times a year in Salisbury Market Square. It comprises approximately 30 stalls, with traders mainly from Normandy and Brittany.

You will find bread and cheese, of course. Plus mustards, chocolate, pancakes, speciality foods, biscuits and cakes and other fine food.

But the market offers more than just fine French food. You can also browse for earthenware pots, perfumes, leather goods, clothes and more.

When are the French markets?

In 2008, the French market will take place on:

  • 15-16 May
  • 11-12 September
  • 27-28 November
