About this service
Chaperone is a CCTV service that will monitor your safety when walking through the town centre at night.
If you feel particularly threatened or vulnerable, the council's CCTV operators can monitor your safe progress through areas covered by CCTV operation.
The service covers the town centres of Salisbury, Amesbury and Mere.
Chaperone can help increase personal safety, and will allow you to use the town centre facilities in the evening with more confidence.
Call the CCTV operators on 01722 434595. The CCTV Operator will ask brief details as to why you feel vulnerable or threatened and discuss the route you intend to take.
