Licensing policy
The Licensing Act 2003 requires the council to revise the licensing policy every three years. The new policy explains how the Licensing Authority will exercise its functions from 7 January 2008.

The revised policy has been prepared by Salisbury District Council Licensing Authority. It has been prepared in accordance with The Licensing Act 2003, Section 182 Guidance on the Licensing Act 2003 (issued on 28 June 2007), case law and feed back from stakeholders on the original policy. We were required to consult widely prior to adoption and we carried out a consultation that ended on 2 November 2007.
