Gambling Act 2005 - Statement of Licensing Policy

The Gambling Act 2005 introduced new procedures affecting the administration of gambling. The council is the licensing authority and be responsible for dealing with applications for Premises Licences, permits, Occasional Use Notices and Temporary Use Notices.

This document was published on 22 December 2006 after wide consultation and came into effect on 31 January 2007.*
