The area boasts an attractive combination of factors: existing business facilities, potential business sites and a pool of skilled labour, plus a high quality of life for a company's employees and their families.

Salisbury District Council works to sustain and develop a competitive economy for south Wiltshire, and a high quality of life for its residents. We aim to develop the district's economy by encouraging new investment and supporting existing business.

We work closely with the other members of the South Wiltshire Economic Partnership and in other partnerships to meet many of these objectives.
